PI material has excellent comprehensive properties. PI material has excellent thermal stability, which can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -269℃-260℃, the short-term use temperature reaches 400-450℃, and the initial decomposition temperature is generally about 500℃.

PI materials have good mechanical properties, with the tensile strength of benzene-homogeneous PI films reaching 250Mpa and biphenyl-type PI films reaching 530 Mpa. It has a low coefficient of expansion, which is generally (2-3)*10-5/℃; The biphenyl type can reach 10^-5/℃. It has good dielectric property, with dielectric constant of about 3.4, dielectric strength of 100-300 KV/mm, volume resistance of 10¹⁷ Ω.cm and dielectric loss of 10^-3.
